Langora · An OptimizeWare product · Last updated: 14 August 2026
Framework draft aligned with Egypt Personal Data Protection principles for Phase 1. Not binding legal advice. Licensed counsel review required before LEGAL GO — public.
1. Who we are
OptimizeWare (“we”, “us”) operates Langora, a pay-as-you-go UI string localization service. For privacy requests, contact nasr@optimizeware.net.
2. Scope
This Policy explains what information we process when you use Langora (including the public website, localization wizard, and job download links). It applies whether or not you create an account — Phase 1 does not require an account.
3. What we process
- Job content: source UI strings, selected source/target locales, and generated translations needed to fulfill your paid (or staging) job
- Job metadata: opaque download tokens, job status, cell counts, timestamps, and similar operational fields
- Payment metadata: on production, Kashier payment/order identifiers and related settlement records — not full card numbers on our servers
- Optional feedback: star rating, free-text comment, and email only if you choose to provide them
- Technical data: IP address, user agent, and server logs for security and reliability — default logging policy is no full string bodies
4. Purposes
We process the above to:
- Generate quotes and fulfill localization jobs
- Process payments and prevent fraud/abuse
- Provide download access within the TTL window
- Improve the product when you submit optional feedback
- Meet accounting, security, and legal obligations
5. Legal bases (framework)
Depending on applicable law, processing is based on: performance of a contract (delivering your paid job), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, product improvement from optional feedback), and legal obligations (payment/tax records). Counsel will finalize PDPL-aligned wording before public launch.
6. Retention
- Source strings and translations: ephemeral job store only — purged after the configured TTL (default 24 hours after completion or failure)
- Download tokens: same TTL as the job
- Payment identifiers: retained for accounting as required by law — without string bodies
- Optional feedback email: until you ask us to delete it, or maximum 24 months
- Admin configuration: retained until changed
7. Subprocessors
We use service providers to operate Langora. Depending on environment:
- Staging: dummy payment and dummy translation providers — no real Kashier charges or live LLM API calls for customer jobs
- Production (when enabled): Kashier (payments); hosting/infrastructure (e.g. Vercel); LLM gateway such as OpenRouter and upstream model providers (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, or others configured by admin)
Subprocessors may process data outside Egypt. By using the service you acknowledge that content may be transmitted to those processors solely to fulfill your job.
8. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with subprocessors as needed to operate the service, or when required by law, or to protect rights and security.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a Phase 1 digital product (HTTPS, access controls, ephemeral content, opaque tokens). No system is perfectly secure. Do not submit secrets, credentials, or highly sensitive personal data in UI strings. Security architecture details are owned separately by OptimizeWare security review (Tarek) before public paid traffic.
10. Your choices and rights
- Do not submit content you are not authorized to share
- Download your output before the TTL expires
- Skip optional email on the feedback step
- Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we still hold (e.g. optional email) by contacting nasr@optimizeware.net
Note: after TTL purge, source strings and translations are no longer available for retrieval.
11. Children
Langora is intended for business and professional use. It is not directed at children under 16. Do not knowingly submit children’s personal data.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes for public paid use will be published before they take effect where required.
