Terms of Service
Langora · An OptimizeWare product · Last updated: 14 August 2026
Framework draft for staging and soft-beta readiness. Not binding legal advice. OptimizeWare will engage licensed Egyptian counsel before LEGAL GO — public paid traffic.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Langora, a pay-as-you-go UI string localization service operated by OptimizeWare (“we”, “us”). By using Langora, obtaining a quote, or paying for a job, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated by reference.
2. Service description
Langora accepts UI string catalogs (pasted or imported), generates AI-assisted translations for selected target languages, and delivers a downloadable multi-format zip (Android XML, Excel/XLSX, iOS .strings, and web JSON). Access is typically without an account, via a job token or job link.
English pivot: If your source language is not English and you do not select English as a target, we may automatically include English as a billable target so we can derive resource keys and include an English pack in your zip. This is disclosed at quote time when it applies.
3. Staging vs production
Environments marked as staging use dummy payment and dummy translations. No real charges apply on staging. Production payment (when enabled) uses Kashier. These Terms describe the intended production rules; staging remains a test surface until live payment is enabled.
4. Eligibility and acceptable use
You represent that you have authority to submit the content you provide. You agree not to:
- Submit content you do not have the right to process or translate
- Upload malware, secrets, credentials, or highly sensitive personal data in string catalogs
- Use Langora for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
- Attempt to bypass pricing, rate limits, security controls, or soft-cap rules
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or exfiltrate model weights or proprietary systems beyond normal use of the product
5. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your source strings and of the localization outputs delivered for your paid job. You grant OptimizeWare a limited license to process that content solely to fulfill the job (including transmission to subprocessors such as payment and AI providers, where applicable).
Langora branding, software, and documentation remain OptimizeWare property. No rights are granted except as needed to use the service.
6. Fees and payment
Pricing is calculated per billable cell (non-empty source line × effective target language), currently USD $0.05 per cell, subject to a USD $5.00 minimum per job, and a soft self-serve cap (approximately 20,000 cells) above which you must contact us for a manual quote. The quote shown before payment is the amount due; changing inputs invalidates a prior quote.
You pay before translation starts. On production, payment is processed by Kashier. We do not store full card numbers on OptimizeWare servers — card data is handled by the payment provider.
7. Delivery, tokens, and retention
After successful payment and job completion, we provide a download link/token for your zip. Job payloads and generated files are deleted after the stated TTL (default 24 hours after completion or failure). Download before expiry. Payment and accounting records may be retained longer without string bodies.
8. AI quality disclaimer
Translations are AI-assisted. OptimizeWare does not guarantee linguistic perfection, cultural appropriateness, or fitness for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing all strings — especially legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical UI — before production release. Mechanical placeholder checks (where provided) do not certify meaning accuracy.
9. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In summary: full refund if we fail to deliver due to our system fault; generally no refund after a valid zip is made available for download.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OptimizeWare’s total liability arising from any job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify OptimizeWare against claims arising from content you submit, your misuse of outputs, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Privacy and subprocessors
Processing of personal and job data is described in the Privacy Policy. Production subprocessors may include Kashier (payments), hosting providers, and LLM gateways (e.g. OpenRouter and upstream model providers).
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for new jobs.
14. Governing law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without conflict-of-law principles, subject to confirmation by licensed counsel and any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Dispute forum to be confirmed by counsel before public launch.
